Last night I dreamt my family lived in the perfect home. It was perched at the top of Saskatchewan Crescent, with a stunning view of downtown Saskatoon. It was a beautiful sunny morning, so I decided to go for a trail ride before my kids woke up for school. After returning, I ate breakfast and had a hot cup of dark roast coffee in the front yard, admiring the city skyline, and the Bessborough hotel. The dream continued… After a nice steam shower, I walked down the Broadway Bridge into Downtown and went to work for a few hours. What was on my mind wasn’t the pile of files on my desk, but that I was entertaining friends at the house tonight, and I’d have to walk to Bulk Cheese Warehouse to get a few groceries. What would you cook, cold-smoked New Yorks or lamb chops?
