Last night I dreamt that my family found our forever home. It was possession day, and we could barely contain our excitement as we drove to Rosewood. As we turned the corner onto the quiet crescent, we were surprised to see that the moving truck was already parked out front of our new house! The kids cheered as they ran upstairs to choose their bedrooms while my partner and I directed the movers unloading our furniture and boxes. I recall the astonishment of realizing that we finally found the perfect place for us, one that checked all of the boxes for our most important wishes: a modern, recent build in a new neighbourhood, enough bedrooms for each of our children, walking distance to their school, a guest room on the main floor so the grandparents don’t have to climb stairs when they come to visit, a bonus room for our home office, a low maintenance yard, a five minute drive to the golf course for mom and dad all summer long, a two bedroom suite in the basement, and the list goes on! Really, what more could you ask for?
